Lapita Tool kits are the plants, animals and knowledge used by the first migrants into remote Oceania. These were brought with them from their former homes in S.E. Asia. After settling in the Pacific islands, new plant uses were developed. Development of plant uses and technologies parallels the development of unique cultures and languages. This episode reviews some of the plants, animals, and technologies that were brought into and developed in remote Oceania.
